There are many people like Ricky who suffer a private hell induced by their addictions whether it be drugs, alcohol, or in this case food. We often don't see them or hear about them because they cannot function and do not leave their homes or share their struggles. I understand Ricky is in a better place now, and I pray that he finds the peace in death that could not be his in this life. I also pray for those who cannot offer anything but cruel and insensitive comments in the face of human suffering. People like this have a disease much more reprehensible than Ricky's addiction, but we don't see them either because they can only get away with their hateful comments when they hide behind a computer.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are all human. Throughout our lives there will be many times when our suffering is induced by our own demons and poor choices.
